About the book

Royal Marine Commando H.Collins served in Afghanistan in 2001 on Combat Operations pushing the Taliban across the Pakistan border.
 

'Last Team Out' follows H throughout his military and professional career as he details not only the events that lead up to the Taliban's re-capture of Kabul in 2021, but the events that molded him into the man he needed to become for his team.

 

Whilst working as a private security contractor for the Japanese Embassy in Afghanistan, H and his team became surrounded by the Taliban. H would have have to keep his team on mission as well as deal with over 400 scared civilians. This is a story about leadership and teamwork. 

H would find himself facing overwhelming odds in his hardest ever challenge as a team leader. This is his amazing true story.
